ArrayShakerâ„¢ is the easy-to-use utility for creating arrays of video files. Simply select an existing QuickTime video file, set the number of rows and columns in your array, and press export. ArrayShaker creates a folder with a name you select and populates it with your QuickTime content split into multiple smaller files. Then, use the files with ArraySync or with any other project you require!
If you use ArraySync to synchronize video playback across a large number of displays attached to multiple networked computers, consider using ArrayShaker to optimize ArraySync playback even further. Break down your movies into only the parts each screen needs to display. After processing your video with ArrayShaker, send each part to it's respective ArraySync Client, and enjoy an even greater level of responsiveness and efficiency.
ArrayShaker uses up to 16 processing cores. The speed at which ArrayShaker renders your project output is dependant only on the speed of your hard disk, processing cores, and memory.
It is recommended you work with videos encoded with production-level or "intermediate" codecs such as Apple Intermediate Codec, ProRes 422, ProRes 4444, or Pixlet. While ArrayShaker will try to import any video file, importing videos compressed with delivery codecs such as H.264 or MPEG will significantly increase processing time or have unexpected results.
